Hello fellow AOSers:

Did I just creat this new word AOSers? I have to keep my spirit high to go through this AOS ordeal. Otherwise, I am going nuts.

Today, I received my third EAD renewal. Everything looks like my two previous cards except having a wrong country of origin. Suddenly, I was born in a different country. Anybody knows how to properly address this issue to the USCIS so that I can receive a replacement as quick as possible. I still have the copy of I-765 application which indicates no error was made on my part. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated in advance. Finally, I posted it as a job ad, You past experience under same circumstance is a big plus to match my urgent need. I wish nobody had have such experience.

Good luck my fellow AOSers.

Looks like you'll have to file the I-765 again. You can use that to file for a replacement if the error is on USCIS's part (no fee required). There's a notation in the instructions about replacements due to errors on the card.

The I-90 is only to replace GCs. EAD replacements use the same form (I-765) whether you apply for a new, renewal or replacement.

MY EAD had a error.......I had mistakedly put my birth year as 05...lol...I was suprised no one had picked it up!!

I called to inform them...they told me to send the card back with the paper it was attached to and they resent a new one...came in about 2 weeks.

Just to be safe...I made a photocopy...as I was applying for jobs and didnt want to have nothing to show future employers :)

Good luck :)
