I already applied my police reports since I submitted my K1 petition in Apr'07. Police reports date are end of Apr for Malaysia and earlier of May for UK (I was studying in UK before for 4 years), I wondered is ok for me to present when I was at interview since the date is 5 or 6 months before? Do I need to apply another reports since I have not received packet 3 from the embassy yet?

Please kindly advice. Thank you.

I129 sent: 18th Apr 2007
NOA1 receipt date: 24th Apr 2007
Touched: 24th Apr 2007, 14/15th Aug 2007
NOA2: 17th Aug 2007
Received NVC letter: 7th Sept 2007
Received Packet 3: 2nd Oct 2007
Sent Packet 3: 4th Oct 2007; Called USE Malaysia: 12th Oct 2007

Depends on the validity of the police report. It can be anywhere from 3 months to 1 year. Your police reports need to be valid when you have your interview.

Depends on the validity of the police report. It can be anywhere from 3 months to 1 year. Your police reports need to be valid when you have your interview.

I did write to the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and they replied and said all police reports are valid for one year from the date of the issuance. Is it the recent report will be better?

It seems that also depends on the country, here in Spain the present police report doesn´t have written validity, they told me that time ago was 6 months, but now depends on to whom is going to be delivered, so i don´t know how much time the spanish embassy will request since you take it :unsure: .

But whatever they may consider, I already have it in my hands, I know we are still in the middle of the journey, but you know, while you´re doing this such things.... you forget that after 109 days we still doesn´t have our NOA2 :blink:
