Yes, about 31 hours to go. This is my second K-1. The first time I was totally confident that we had a good relationship and lots of evidence. We were joking the night before and if she seemed nervous I would say "Piece of Cake", It was a new expression in English for her and we were laughing about it. I stood outside the Embassy. One of the other guys fiancee's from here SpaDude who I have not seen on here for ages also had her interview and they came out together but only SpaDudes fiancee got the visa. We got a 221-G instead but did get the visa a few weeks later.

This time I am not confident at all. We have lots of evidence and my fiancee knows about as much about my life as my mother does so there is nothing they are going to ask that she won't have the answer for. After spending 5 months in A/R I got adjusted to the pesimistic side of things and I am usually a total optimist.

We started off with bad luck in the time we spent in A/R and then I am not sure if finding out on Friday the 13th that your interview is 9/11 is good or bad but one way or the other I will just keep my hopes up and believe it when the visa is in her hands.

Thanks for the good wishes. As soon as I know anything I will post it. She is going to send me an SMS as soon as she comes out of the Embassy. I do appreciate the good wishes and support. Thanks.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.
Waiting - Waiting - Waiting
3/6 Called NVC file sent to Washington for "Administrative Review" Told to call back every few weeks. 7/6 Called NVC, A/R is finished, case on way to Moscow. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7/13 On Friday the 13th we see updated Moscow website with our interview on 9/11 (Hope we are not supersticious) 9/11 Visa Approved. Yahoo.
10/12 Tickets for her to America. I am flying to JFK to meet her there. 12/15/07 We are married. One year and a day after filling original K-1
12/27 Filed for AOS, EAD & AP 1/3 Received all three NOA-1's 1/22 Biometrics 2/27 EAD & AP received 4/12 Interview
5/19/08 RFE for physical that she should not have needed. 5/28 New physical ($ 250.00 wasted) 6/23 Green Card received
4/22/10 Filed for Removal of Contitions. 6/25 10 Year Green Card received Nov, 2014 Citizenship ceremony. Our journey is complete.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Best of luck the second time around. I had to chuckle when you said that your Fiance knows as much about you as your Mother...now that's true love, allowing Mom to tell all your childhood quirks. No worries on the date of 9/11; I'm praying my fiance will be on his way home and then to the U.S. which will be on 9/11. Positive thoughts feel so much better than imagining the worst and the second time around, you're more prepared than ever.

K-1 and I-601 Waiver Timeline

4/20/06: K-1 NOA Receipt 4/20/06

12/6/06: CDJ Interview - Denied - I-601 Waiver Required

12/18/06: I-601 Waiver filed

9/12/07: RECEIVED K-1 VISA!

AOS

9/14/07: Entered the United States

9/21/07: Happliy Married!

10/6/07: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox!

10/8/07: Return Receipt stamped received by USCIS

10/19/07: NOA Receipt for AOS & EAD received

10/24/07: Case Online at USCIS.gov

11/3/07: Biometrics Appointment

11/14/07: Appointment Letter received

11/16/07: EAD Production ordered.

11/21/07: AOS Interview - Approved - Hubby is Legal Permanent Resident (Conditional)

11/23/07: Registered Customer's new permanent resident status (Online Case Status)

11/26/07: Production of EAD ordered (Online Case Status)

11/28/07: Received EAD Card!

11/30/07: Received Welcome to the U.S. Letter

12/1/07: Received GREEN CARD!

Thanks everyone. We are at 15 hours and counting for her interveiw. By the time I am able to uncross my fingers I may be perminantly crippled.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.

3/6 Called NVC file sent to Washington for "Administrative Review" Told to call back every few weeks. 7/6 Called NVC, A/R is finished, case on way to Moscow. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Russians aren't supersticious anyway. I'll be wating for that "visa approved" post tomorrow.
