Hi everyone ... just curious ... I sent the I-751 package to VSC on July 27. So far they cashed the checks and last week (August 24) I got the appointment for biometrics. Is it Ok to received the biometrics before NOA1 or should I call and ask them where is it (CG extension) ????

sure okay :D i too, i received my biometric oppintment before NOA1, and still dint recieve my NOA1 till now, i filed in 7-7-2007 and i received nothing since that day :D but as i heard it will takes to send it 3 months 90 days :D u are okay :D

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

Not sure it this would be the same but when I did Claudeth's AOS we didn't receive a NOA, only the biometrics, the EAD, a letter stating that her petition had been transferred to CSC, an approval letter and several emails and the GC.

We also received biometrics appointment letter and have not received NOA1 yet, don't call or panic yet, they will only tell you that it takes up to 90 days. If no NOA1 after 90 days, then it's time to call.

7/16/05 EAD Denied - Claimed did not have proof of AOS

8/25/07 Mailed NOA2 back asking for new date, requested Sat 9/29 or later

9/6/07 Receive new NOA2 - Biometric Appt for 9/21/07 (laugh and just accept it)

9/17/07 Receive NOA1 with a date of 8/8/07

3/1/08 RFE - Bitter

3/19/08 After two calls with USCIS, send response to RFE

3/21/08 USCIS signs for response to RFE, wait continues

4/29/08 Receive email of approval, card production ordered!!

5/2/2008 Received approval letter in the mail! Waiting on card.

5/7/2008 Received 10 Year Green Card in Mail!

Same here also. We filed I-485 and I-765 July 24 at lock box, and check cashed August 14. Then Aug.20 Biometrics appointment for Sept. 14 received. Very excited!!!! To me, this is good news! and hope my application is on the right track. Good luck to all that has the same situation :D
