We have a new Baby

After having two siamese cats for 22 years.. and both passing this past year..

I have decided to get another baby.. erum .. actually my daughter did..

Her name is Luna. she is Himalyan/Siamese and is 7 weeks old.

My dogs first went crazy not knowing what to do .. the Min-pin.. sniffed her a few times and now just walks away.. however.. the Golden Ret. Sadie.. seems to want to attempt to pick her up all the time. .. slobber. slobber.. not good when she tried to pick her up from her head.. .

I think she wants to take the baby away and nuture it herself.. .. instead we watch her close.. kitten is just a bit too small to let roam right now with the big dogs.. hehe.

OMG!!! She is PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard many stories of dogs wanting to 'care for' baby puppies and kittens that aren't theirs. My hubby's mom had a german shepard once who cared for and coddled some Jack Russell puppies like they were HERS.

Sadie looks so curious and sweet in that picture, while Luna sort of has that typical 'get that thing away from me!' cat look on her face.

I could hug Sadie to pieces, bless her!!!

Aww, she's beautiful! And I'll bet when she gets older, you'll be taking pictures of her snuggling with Sadie. They'll probably be good buddies.
