06/25/07 Got notice in the email that they need more information for the I130 and that they sent me a letter in the mail (RFE)

07/12/07 My wife got the PCC done at her local Passport office :)

07/12/07 Touched I130 "Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed."

08/07/07 Called for RFE info. They said not yet, and will have something in the mail by 3-4 weeks :(

Just called NVC and my I-129F was recieved from CSC on 24Sept and forwarded to the embassy on 26Sept.

When did you get your I129 approved?

thanks JAS. but we should have all done K-1. our spouses would have here long ago...i have known many married couples opt for K-1, even though they are married...but NO i had to stick with the legal route... :angry:

ur lucky that u get to be with your spouse even though for short period of time. i am in grad school and can't even afford to take a day off :angry:

Guys...u guys should really be thankful that u are not in a middle eastern country. The earliest interview that I can hope to get will be December, but seeing as though my petition has been at the NVC for almost one month now...i doubt that we get our interview till January...then the AP for middle eastern countries is usually a couple of months--so looks like the earliest i may see my husband again will be April (if we have no other hang ups)....next month will be a year since i seen him. I work 2 jobs and have a 2 year old--I can't go again without her and can't afford a ticket for both of us. So, we all have disturbing situations and things that happen...we just have to keep faith and no that one day this will all be over and will be worth our wait.

Congrats to u all who are past NVC....hopefully mine will be sent to the embassy by next week :)

i just read my post...and i sounded like a complete baby!!! Sorry for the vent guys :)

Neel my wife is due Jan 8th and she really can't fly past November. So I am waiting for the papers to get to the embassy and then I plan on going there and seeing if they can expedite her interview based on her pregnancy so that she can fly by mid November. I don't know...hopefully something will work out. Otherwise she will have to have the baby in India and probably fly in February with the baby. :(
