My parents 77 and 82 yo are heading to Kazakhstan/Almaty for their IR-5 interview. Have to take medical exams there as well, a few days before the interview. No vaccination records available at all. Everyone in all Soviet Union countries got those immunization shots those days, was a standard practice. Realistically, what's going to happen at the medical exam in Almaty? Will they get any/all shots at that age? Obviously, would like to avoid getting so many shots at once at their age. Anyone with experience please share.

Usually much cheaper to get the vaccination situation sorted out beforehand

Will definitely get a titer test done - thanks! Did not know it is accepted.

Re: getting vaccinated, yes will do that in the home country as well, I just don't know if they can skip some of the vaccinations due to their age. Any info on this would be very helpful.

I think they actually have to have an extra one or two as they’re over 65. But you can find the list and age related requirements on the CDC website.
