Hello,

Our case was approved by USCIS on December 16th, 2025 and the sent to the Department of State on February 18th. The NVC has still not processed the case as of yet. I've submitted a couple of inquiries, the first one said they haven't received our case. They told us to email NVCResearch with our approval notice, that inquiry told us that they received our case but they have not added it into their systems yet. I've submitted a third inquiry on March 26th, but have not received a response yet.

My fiancé and I are concerned because the NOA2 approval notice has an expiration date. Will the expiration date be a problem if there are further delays?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

No need to concern yourself with the expiration of the approval.  It will be automatically extended in four month increments until you fail to attend the interview or denied at interview.
