I would say the I-130 part of the process will take roughly a year.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Hi everyone! I just want to know how many months does it take to process the I 130. My parents are in the Philippines and I just submitted the forms last January 5, 2026.

Yep, about a year as a rough guide. Maybe 16-18 months for the whole process.

Good luck.

I have a question about the "Official Statement" part when applying for parents online (Form I-130).

What documents did y'all provide for evidence? Can anyone provide some insights on this part of the application?

My mom has no records of religious, school or census record.

Thank you!

Yes, I have all the documents uploaded. At the end, they ask for official document regarding religion, school or census record. I have included the part I am taking about below.

You just need to submit a copy of your passport, US citizenship certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate; your parent's marriage certificate, parent's birth certificates. These are the required documents needed. If you don't have any of these, you need to submit the secondary evidence - religious records/school records/census records/dna test results.

As it says, only relevant if an official document isn’t available. Sounds like you’ve got all of those so you don’t need anything else.
