  1. You only submit the said list (secondary evidence) if you can't provide them a copy of your parent's birth certificate, marriage certificate.
  2. You just need to submit a copy of your passport, US citizenship certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate; your parent's marriage certificate, parent's birth certificates. These are the required documents needed. If you don't have any of these, you need to submit the secondary evidence - religious records/school records/census records/dna test results.

  5. That's exciting! So happy for you. I just submitted the I-130 forms online (01/2026). Now I know what to expect, that it will take at least a year to receive an update from the USCIS.
