So my fiancee had her K1 visa interview in Manila, Philippines on 01/20. The officer gave her verbal approval and kept her passport. The status on CEAC changed from 'Ready' to 'Application Received' the following day, and hasn't changed. She’s been very sad that the friends she’s made along the way on our journey had their k1 visas issued within a handful of days. They didn’t even see this status and now I’m starting to get worried. There’s no possible reason for our case to have any thing hold it up. Has anyone else had this happen?

That's not your case.  Your case was "created" months ago, after your approved I-129F petition was sent to NVC.  (Your timeline shows 2025-10-09)

Double-check that you entered the correct case number from the K-1 FTP letter, and if you did (it will start with MNL2025) then there's something scrambled.  It shouldn't be possible for any case starting MNL2025 to have a creation date in 2026.

Your screenshot shows status of a non-immigrant visa, but in CEAC status tracker, you have to use the "immigrant visa" option... and the status tracker for non-immigrant visa doesn't accept case numbers starting MNL.  And the line above "creation date" shows "Immigrant Visa Case Number" when checking status.

If you really did enter the MNL number on the "immigrant visa" status check, and got back that non-immigrant visa information, try messaging https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visa-inquiry-form/ (you'd think "non-immigrant" but K-1 appears on this page), they do respond pretty quickly.

This is a visa application case.  The visa was officially applied for on the date of the interview.  It's been six days.  My advice is to the OP is be patient.

This is normal.... The K-1 is technically a non-immigrant visa that is processed by the Immigrant Visa unit at the embassy, right up until it is time to be issued. Since it is a non-immigrant visa, it MUST be issued by the Non-Immigrant Visa unit. The case status changes to "Application Received" when the IV Unit passes it to the NIV unit for issuance. This happened in Jaycel's case there in Manila. (We got really nervous too :)) I had a former Consular Officer explain this to me some time later. We had met him at a social event and I asked him a few things, this being one of them. Don't worry... The next step is "Approved" and then "Issued". Jaycel's changed from "Application Received" to "Approved" to "Issued" all within a matter of about 2-3 days.

This is also normal in the process.... When it passes to the NIV Unit for issuance it then shows in the CEAC Tracker as NonImmigrant. Same thing happened to Jaycel's case number.

As you can see here, it will still show as Nonimmigrant when it's issued. This was Jaycel's last status in the case.

Update: Unfortunately our case hasn't received any updates and remains on Application Received. Today marks 2 weeks since our interview. I'm trying to remain optimistic but it's hard when you see people who interviewed the same day have already entered the states. We will inquire on Wednesday if there still isn't an update.
