Done with my 6 month TB treatment. Told by clinic that I cannot schedule my interview until I get my final sputum result which is in 3 weeks, Jan 20.

i’m done with my biometrics back in May 2025. I can schedule my remedical on Jan 21. But then, the medical results will expire on April 20.

How can I get an interview slot as early as February so I can make it to the medical results expiry, when as of today, February and March slots are already taken?

I HAVE A DEADLINE TO CATCH. I HAVE TO BE IN THE US BY APRIL 20.

You can get a chance with a slot reopening on February and March if you will keep checking their appointment calendar daily maybe around 11PM PHT until the few hours past midnight. Probably some people rescheduling theirs.

Mine expires on April because it’s attached to a sputum result. The clinic even gave me a slip that explicitly states the expiry date. It’s different for people who underwent TB treatment. It’s only 3 months for us.

Yes I have to be in the US by April 20, since my medical result will expiry by then. The final sputum result with the Xray after treatment is only valid 3 months; hence, April 20. If I don’t make it, I will have to the medical again and be delayed for another 4 months, coz they’re getting another sputum sample again (yes, it resets and not consider my latest sputum result). And then, once I have it, wait for the embassy to process things and hopefully make it to the 3 months validity. If not, I might redo everything again and another 4 months of delay.

Just keep checking for interview slots, multiple times a day. It’s likely you’ll snag a cancellation or they’ll open more up.

This is the best advice - This is how we got Jaycel's appointment. We figured out that if you log in no more than once per hour, you shouldn't get locked out of the portal. We picked up what we believe was a canceled appointment because when we found it, it was the only slot open for the whole month at the time.

Thanks for this :)

hope you don’t mind sharing how she schedule the interview slot after cancelling an interview. I’m done with the biometrics back in May. And since I cancelled my interview, the only option is Close and Open New, which means I will have to redo Biometrics.

For those who went through TB treatment, will the option change in the system and allow interview appointment scheduling without cancelling the biometrics, after clearing medical?

Unfortunately she did not have to schedule, cancel and then re-schedule so I can't advise on that
