Hi all, I’m still waiting on my i751 to be approved but have my 48 month extension letter. I was wondering if I travel outside of the country back to my home country aka Canada with my passport that has less than 6 months validity am I still allowed to enter back using the extension letter, expired green card, and the passport that has 3 months left on it?

Yes, this should not be a problem.

I strongly recommend that you try to renew your passport while you are in Canada though.  Imminent need to travel would justify the expedited service while you are there.

Okay, and yes depends on how long I’ll be there. Most likely only a week

You don't have any to worry about as far as you have your extension letter.

Try to get a new passport while in Canada because you will still need it along the line

I agree, you should not worry as when entering, you are using your expired GC and extension letter although CBP should also look at your passport.  I also agree, you should start the renewal process on your passport.

Good Luck!
