I recently received a biometric appointment schedule in Honolulu, Hawaii location for my I-130 application. However, I moved to Germany in 2021 for a job under military contract and been here since. Does anyone know or a process you did in the past to request for relocation in Germany for biometric instead of Hawaii?

Hello all,
I received a biometric appointment letter scheduled for FEB 2nd, 2026 at the USCIS office in Honolulu, Hawaii. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend on the scheduled date due to my current overseas military contract. My family and I are residing in Wiesbaden, Germany making it very expensive and almost impossible for us to travel to Hawaii currently. Has anyone may have a similar situation and able to relocate the appointment here in Germany? In addition, I have re-scheduled once so far online, but not sure what is the maximum amount of time can someone re-schedule. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Why aren't you contacting Frankfurt consulate to ask about this or going through military liaison at your base? https://de.usembassy.gov/contact/#frankfurt

There's also militaryinfo@uscis.dhs.gov on https://www.uscis.gov/archive/germany-uscis-frankfurt-field-office

Last effort - your congressional representative - should've been in touch with them when you received a notice.
