Does anyone have a number to talk to an actual person at the London US embassy?

I don’t mean the one that goes to the switchboard and then automated messages and then nothing.

We need to discuss something important and we are not getting replies by email!

Thanks in advance

I have not come across one. Not the sort of thing they do.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

There must be something if they are not responding to emails

No way of phoning them AFAIK. What email address are you using? And what’s the reason for contacting them?

Londoninfounit@state.gov
it’s the only one that comes up.

What’s it for? I’ve got a couple of different emails but no point if they’re not the right dept for your query.

And just checking, but the emails you’ve sent to the address above included the info they ask for in the subject line and case number?

It’s regarding my interview. I need to discuss a few things personal, some health related and it’s complicated which is why I really want to discuss it with someone on the phone

If it’s health related have you called the doctors? The consulate don’t really have anything to do with the medical other than ticking a yes/no box to say if you’ve passed that requirement or not. Anything more nuanced I’d ask Visa Medicals.

But try SCSLondon@state.gov

And make sure you’re following the instructions below.

  • USE THIS SUBJECT LINE: M99 - YOUR FULL NAME - OTHER QUESTION
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • London Immigrant Visa Case Number if you have it (usually starts with LND)
  • Date of your interview (if available)
  • Description of your situation

Good luck!

The interview would be the obvious time.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Consular staff will not give you advice, legal or otherwise.

I am not looking for legal advice, I have a lawyer for that.
I have complicated personal things, including a physical health related matter about getting to/ having the interview that I need to discuss with someone before.
