Hi everyone,

I and my wife are filling out our I-485 application. We are not sure if we have a priority date in our I797C. Our I797C only has the received date. I do not see anywhere it says priority date. Is our priority date the received date? Should we put the received date in the priority date box in our I-485? Thank you so much.

Since you are filing as a spouse that entered on a K1 visa (per profile), you do not have a Priority Date or an Underlying petition.

The underlying petition would be the receipt number for the I-129F since your filing category is "Person admitted to the United States as a fiancé(e) or child of a fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen (K-1/K-2 Nonimmigrant)", but yes there is no priority date.

Thank you for the information. Should I put N/A in the priority date box or write the received date there?
