After that he went through the have you ever questions, I noticed he was looking directly in my eyes and I also looked directly into his eyes.

Very cool you noticed it! In some cultures eye contact is not desirable etc, but in the US, direct eye contact is what's needed to have full trust and credibility.

This word sounds scary. Better be naturalized than neutralized.

Best of luck! Remember to go to SSA to update status after you become a citizen, as well as get US passport (large book recommended, it is a free upgrade). Keep us posted!

Yes I was asked for ID, It is so simple at least it was for me. And I thank God. When I got to the building the office asked for appointment letter and ID, I gave the temporary she said it was alright.I am so glad people encouraged me to go get it. She checked both and gave them back. Then we went through security. I was with my husband he also was asked for ID,then we went through security they checked everything and had as remove our children from stroller they checked the stroller. Then went to another window where I was given a ticket and told to go to send floor and wait for my ticket number to be called. Waited for about 20 minutes then I was called officer was calm. Pit me under oath, He asked for my Passport, green card and state issued ID, I gave him. He then told me we will now do the civics test. He asked 6 questions. Got them all right. He asked me to read a sentence then asked to write a sentence. After that he went through the have you ever questions, I noticed he was looking directly in my eyes and I also looked directly into his eyes. Then he discussed about my name change coz I wanted name change but after he explained,I changed my mind and he had me sign that I will not change my name. Then he had me sign two things. Then he printed something and told me you will get a letter letting you know where and when the neutralization ceremony will take place.

It is easy, if you don't have any complications it should be. Just study the booklet.
