Hey guys,  hope you are well.  I need help, kinda worried as my interview is in 2 weeks . I posted this on reddit but nothing so far.

My name on birth certificate is (example) Jane May Stephanie , my father's name is Brown. So I have 2 middle names.

When doing my national school examinations at age 14, they only wanted 2 names and a surname/family name. So I currently go by Jane May Brown.  All the school documents,  government ID and passport,  driving licence,  work ID , bank documents,  marriage certificate are in the name Jane May Brown.

During USCIS,  we had an RFE to prove that Jane May Stephanie and Jane May Brown is the same person.  So we sent  my childhood immunisation card, birth certificate with the name "Jane May Stephanie " and showing both of my parents names. I also sent my tax certificate showing my current name " Jane May Brown " and both of my parents names together with affidavits (notarised and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in my country) from myself, an aunt and uncle explaining that I'm the same person.  Also my mother's passport copy and dad's death certificate.  I got approved and DQed even and uploaded the same on CEAC. Now the embassy emailed me last month asking for name change certificate (Stephanie =>Brown) . I don't have one since I didn't change my name legally. I just wrote another explanation and uploaded the same documents. I'm worried and stressed if I'll get approved.

I thought of applying for a new passport with the name Stephanie on it so it's "Jane May Stephanie Brown " but figured all the documents will need replacement as well.  Am I cooked?

Are you sure you're referring to middle names, not last names?

Yeah looks like that but if written well. They'd be two middle names "Jane May Stephanie Brown "😅

On your birth certificate, which box does "Stephanie" appear in?  Is it in the "last name"/"family name"?  It sounds like you have two different last names, matching each parent, used alternately not together (at least, none of your documents use them together, correct?  If you try to string together both on a new passport it's just as likely to make your problem worse not better).
