Ir1 visa application. Married since 2016. Interview scheduled for Nov 25.

through the document collating as part of the AOS we recognised that my wife (sponsor) has been (always has pre and post marriage) filing as ‘single tax payer’ we now know she should have been filing MFS. She is well above min poverty wage.

Since recognising this we have submitted form 1040-x to amend status to MFS for the past 3 years (22, 23 and 24) Amended tax returns will not be published for 16 weeks so we only have the forms we submitted and screen shots of the amendment status from her IRS portal.

what should we do in this situation? Ie should we upload to NVC or just take docs with me to interview? Is it likely to be an issue or given the action we have taken is it likely to be of concern to CO?

appreciate any advice in advance.
