A woke school superintendent earning more than $424,000 per year is now using taxpayer funds to hire a personal bodyguard, it has emerged.

She has come under fire for allegedly covering up a football recruitment scandal, withholding National Merit awards from students, and defying Title IX protections in girls sports, Fox News reports.

The school board opted to renew her four-year contract last November and raised her salary $380,000 by nearly 12 percent. She was also awarded a $12,000 annual car allowance.

And I bet that they will be armed. ☠️

 

I know I am making some assumptions here, but the hypocrisy is verging on the ridiculous. This Superintendent is most likely all for taking guns away from the ordinary citizen and will almost certainly be against having armed security at the schools for which she is responsible, yet avows that she needs security herself.

 

If she did her job in a competent manner and represented the teachers, children and parents, then she would have no need for personal security. But she is earning 7x the average teachers’ wages and, by implication, is doing such an awesome job that she feels threatened by the very people she is supposed to represent.

 

She needs to go and go now. Her and her bodyguard’s salaries could employ 9 more teachers, or raise a bunch of existing teachers’ salaries to something a little better.
