I did my biometrics yesterday. Got the invite letter about a wk ago.

surprised how quickly that came tbh

Nice, everything has been pretty quick so far!
They corrected the typo on the last name and re-scheduled biometrics in 3 weeks. I am hoping they send me an updated extension letter with the corrected last name... otherwise might have to give them a call.

And within MINUTES I received my OAC. Logged in, I see the I-751 there but then it says:

Error retrieving case status
We are having trouble retrieving your case status. Try again later.

Assuming it's just processing and will be up later today or tomorrow :)

Try checking status here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/

The link above doesn't require login, only needs case number. Sometimes when myUSCIS is down, this works.

Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent

On August 25, 2025, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number ************, and sent you a receipt notice or acceptance notice. The notice describes how we will process your case.

We are still waiting for the receipt to show up in the mail. The check was cashed so we know things are moving. Kicking myself for not including the G-1145 form in my packet, but we are past that now; just have to be patient. As soon as I get the receipt in the mail I will upload it to my online profile and take it from there.

Interesting as we got the receipt before the check was cashed.

Update:

08/22 I-751 sent via UPS to Elgin Lockbox

08/25 UPS said delivered to front desk and signed for

08/28 Text message from USCIS with Receipt Number

08/29 Partial Upload of evidence in online account

08/30 Receipt notice in online account - Biometrics notice just says "For some cases, we require biometrics (fingerprints, a photo, and a signature). If we need biometrics from you, we will send you a SEPARATE appointment notice with a specific date, time and place for you to go to" - Not sure if they will reuse my biometrics yet or not as I'm not sure if that notice would be under my documents on in the receipt itself.

Case is at NBC

Yay! Exciting! I so far don't have a biometrics reuse notice nor do I have a biometrics appointment scheduled notice. I'm sure I'll see something pop up this week. Congrats on everything moving forward :)

Biometric was easy. In and out in 5 minutes. By the time I got home the case status changed to Case is Still Being Processed by USCIS. I expect (and hope) to hear nothing until I'll put in for naturalization next year.

Wishing everyone a smooth case processing

Awesome! I'm glad it was quick and easy. Still waiting to see if I get a scheduled biometrics or if there is a reuse notice. I'm assuming that I will have to do biometrics since most that are getting the reuse notice see it on the same day as their NOA1. We shall see :)
