What type of visa?

Hi all,

 

My spouse is here on a B2 Visa, it expires Early November. We are married, just got married if that changes anything. He didnt come here with the purpose of marrying but to travel and have fun with friends ( mutual friends of mine thats how we met). So his visa isnt expired, I am a us citizen. What form(s) should we file? What timeline should we look at? Does each form require its own filing fee?

Best bet is to head over to the Guides and then ask questions about anything you do not understand.

 

I assume the plan is for him to stay and adjust so he does not need a visa.

You can file for his adjustment of status, as long as he's happy not being able to leave the US or work for quite some time. Follow the guides at the top of the page, and yes, each form has its own fee.
