Hi guys!

I am the petitioner and my husband and I are almost to the end of our journey, we have been DQ on July 14th and are awaiting our interview letter. Just yesterday, I got a promotion at work. Same company, same job but with an upgraded title and will be getting a bigger salary.

Does my husband need to take a brand new and updated/signed affidavit of support to the interview? Or should he just take along the affidavit of support we submitted along with a new letter from my work stating my new title and pay? My husband also got a promotion with an upgraded title at his job as well - since he is the beneficiary, does he need to inform the consular officer at the interview or does that not matter much to them?

All our documents were approved and I already qualified as a sponsor based on my income and work history so the salary is not an issue, just wanted to make sure we have everything straight and didn’t want there to be any issues. Thank you in advance!

I would just have an updated I-864 with the increased annual income included...along with supporting documentation available for the interview.

Okay, will do! Will my husband need to bring the old one that was uploaded and approved as well? Also, would my husband need to let the consular officer know his upgraded job title? Thanks so much!
