How can I help my son remove the condition on his green card if me and spouse are no longer together

Me and my spouse been separated (not legally) how do I help my son remove the condition on his green card? We was married for about 3yrs before we came to America .Any hell will go a long way since I have only 30 days to respond to this before the decision is final . Thank you in advance

Really strange, sounds like an error on their end if he was given a 2 year GC and you were given a 10 year one. But you need to sort this urgently.   Also, did you replace his GC when he tur

If you didn’t replace his GC when he turned 14, just FYI another obligation to be aware of is the requirement that he register for selective service within 30 days of his 18th birthday.

Are you the beneficiary or the Petitioner?  The instructions tell you to submit a proper I-751

No my card was not conditional I actually just tried to renew it last two years it was automatically extended 7yrs more ,and yes we came together at the time I secured an enterview my ex came to my home country (Ghana) went to interview with me ,and 6months temporarily visas was granted so we left together to the USA . We both received green cards after a couple of months of being here . I just didnot know at the time his was conditional.

Hi, this doesn't make sense.

 

Did you have green card for over 9 years? 10 year green cards can be renewed 6 months to expiration.

They're never extended by 7 years. Only by 24 or 36 months.

 

Can you help us by sharing month and year from Resident Since on your green card and category?

 

Do it for both your GC and son's GC.

 

For example:

 

Father Resident Since: June 2024

Category: CR-1

 

 

Son Resident Since: June 2024

Category: <whatever it says on his card>
