How long does it normally take to get a NOA1?

Hi, 

 

We've sent our package exactlyn2 weeks ago. So far we've only received a text message saying they've received it and we should expect a letter in the mail, and a receipt for the $675.

 

We haven't received a welcome letter with a receipt number and online access code yet. How long does this normally take? I had a look on several people's timelines and often people received it in a few days already.

My lawyer sent my packet in the week of May 27. I just received my NOA1 in the mail today. I never received any text message or email update beforehand. 

 

It sounds like we're on the same time line, so you should receive it in the mail soon.

There is no online access code for I-129Fs. You just create a USCIS account and add your receipt number to track progress.

 

Also, it is not often that people receive NOA1s within days.

I feel kinda stupid now, the letter we received was our NOA1! I just thought it was a receipt of our payment, and I assumed the NOA1 would include a "welcome to USCIS" message because I thought I read that somewhere 😅
