The standard VJ advice is: Never book a flight until after the visa is in hand and has been checked for errors.

Just because your interview is July 1st, this definitely doesn't mean your visa will be issued the same day. You should not have that expectation at all.

From visa issued and posted out to delivered at your home, it will be a matter of days, providing no missed deliveries or delays with the courier. As for the timeline between interview and visa issued, who knows. Could be days, could be weeks, could be months. This is why you should not make concrete travel plans.

I've not booked any flights, my partner wanted to come here so she could be here while I'm in the interview, we were wondering how quick the delivery would be for the premium because I could not find anything about it online and to see whether or not I could potentially book a flight by the 11th. If not that's cool

It used to be you walked out with the visa but that was a looong time ago.

On average they seem to take a week, how long yours will be is another issue.

If your interview is 1st then I wouldn’t book a flight for the 11th unless it’s fully refundable. It’s usually quicker than the two weeks the consulate quotes (I had my passport back 4 working days after my interview), and extended AP is unusual for London applicants, but still risky.

Thank you, my partner and I were just curious about how long it would take with premium delivery and what not.

It's the visa being approved and printed that actually takes the time, delivery is usually next day or two days max after that. It's usually well within the two weeks overall, but as long as the flight is amendable or fully refundable you'll be fine.

Best of luck.
