Making this thread since I didn't see one for this month yet. Got the I-485 and I-765 receipt notices via SMS today, filed May 9th at Chicago office. Surprised I got the texts this quick, or at all lol.

We got the I-797C NOA in the mail today with the online access code to track the AOS/EAD cases :D Can only one USCIS account track them? My wife (the applicant) added it to her account but I wasn't able to add it as a case to mine (I was tracking the I-129F). Also, should my wife carry around the NOA document with her as proof of authorized stay or would having a picture of it suffice? Her K1 visa is still valid.

Only the applicant with the online access code can add it to their account. My wife carries a copy of her I-485 NOA1 with her all the time.

Ok cool. Also I was looking at the uploaded documents they have in the documents tab. I assume the I-485 and I-765 don't get uploaded here? I only see I-864 and supporting documents/evidence. Some of the evidence such as some pay stubs and some tax transcripts are missing... Did this happen for anyone else? Can I upload the missing ones as unsolicited evidence?

This is normal.... They do not show everything you submit. My wife's document tab has some I-864 stuff, some civil docs and that's about it

Hi! My husband (the applicant) got the message that his case was received. We have the receipt number from that, but for the access code, we have to wait for the physical paper right? Can you clarify what you were talking about in regards to “only the applicant with the online access code”? I was tracking the i-129f and the uscis acc is in my name/email etc. does that mean my husband needs to create his own account and we can track it there? Or can I add it to mine?

I-129F belongs to US citizen.

I-485 belongs to immigrant.

US citizen should have their own USCIS account.

Immigrant should have their own USCIS acccount.

Moving forward, any new petitions / applications, such as I-485, I-765, I-131, I-751, N-400 belong to immigrant and should be added to immigrant's account, not US citizen's account

Yeah, you won't need your USCIS account anymore, only add cases in the immigrant's account. If you want to check the case status yourself, just use your spouse's login credentials (with spouse's permission of course :D)

There's way to check cases without login and it's more reliable:

https://egov.uscis.gov/

All you need is case number.

This website works most of the times even when MyUSCIS is down and everybody freaks out not being able to see their cases.
