Hello community, my spouse has cr1 visa and we will be flying into miami airport next week.

I will be flying with my spouse. I'm not sure if I need to research what to expect at the border.

My questions are:

1 - Do I (us citizen) wait in the line with my foreign spouse? Can we both go in US CITIZENS line? She has Greek and Albanian passport.

2 - Is everyone going into secondary inspection? Do I (Us citizen) go into inspection with my spouse?

3 - Are we going to be questioned by border agents again?

I don't need to worry about anything but I am type of person who just want to know what to expect in general.

If anyone provides info from experience, i would appreciate thank you.

It will depend on the volume of people landing at the same time.  Follow the direction of airport staff directing the crowd.

After reaching the border agent, the immigrant visa holder will be directed to secondary (where you can usually tag along, unless it's crazy crowded).

"Questioned by border agents", well... I've been questioned everytime I enter the US, but it's usually quick and easy.

When I immigrated, a couple extra questions about the goods I was importing.

Don't stress too much, most people find entry anticlimactic, after the whole process and interview at the consulate/embassy.  Best of luck!

There will usually be a person standing at the place where the non-citizen's line starts and the citizen's line starts.  Explain your situation to this person, and follow their instructions.  When my spouse entered (and I was with her), we both went to secondary.  It was painless, just mildly intimidating to be in secondary.

Be sure to have all the correct paperwork with you!

This part of your journey is almost over!
