May 2024 I-130 Filers

Hey all, I'm happy to see that my fellow May 2024 filers are starting to get their approval!

 

I've been tracking my case through the official website and up until yesterday it gave me an estimate of 5 more months. But suddenly that number changed to an estimate of 19 more months. Is anyone else seeing that happen too?

The website numbers are notoriously inaccurate. Wouldn't put any stock in those estimates at all.

When I got approved mine was still saying 5 months the website is definitely not accurate

Ignore it completely, those estimates are about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Assuming that yours is a USC spousal case then you should be hearing fairly soon.

I filed our I-130 May 2024 and I see we could have a decision by sometime next week.  It's been a long wait.

The bigger problem is this: VJ Member Timeline: No Timeline Found!

 

If you fill out your timeline here, you should have an accurate estimate.  Ours was accurate to within mere days.

 

Without a timeline, VJ can't calculate an estimate for you, and your data cannot be used to help others.

After almost 15 months our I-130 has finally been approved!!!  Hopefully the next steps in the process won't be as long.

If she has conditions to remove in the future, that can take as much time or longer.

It takes 12-17 months to get approval.

In October make the 17th month
