Approved at interview but CEAC has not been changed

We had our interview on Monday (May 13), the interview was very smooth with no issues and the consular said my wife’s visa was approved and wait 2 to 3 weeks for her visa.

Since Monday our CEAC status has updated everyday but stayed at ready. I know it’s only been three days, but I wanted to check with the group to see if or when we should reach out to the embassy.

I would not worry.  It's still well within the range of "normal".  Every time the date updates it means someone at the embassy did something so it at least proves they have not forgot about you.  Most of the time cases in Manila get issued within a day or two of a successful interview, but but sometimes seemingly normal looking cases take up to two weeks for no outwardly apparent reason. It will be "issued" soon.

Posted (edited)

My Fiancee had her interview april 29 and the officer verbally told her that the visa was approved and should be delivered to her in 2 weeks.

My CEAC status is stuck on application received, case updated may 2, no updates since, I emailed the courier that delivers the visa only to find out that it is not in their possesion, when I emailed the embassy they replied saying the case had been updated and to wait 2 business days...

So yeah, I'm just another person freaking out about the CEAC status, but it's been 2 weeks without an update. I have a feeling I'm going to have to call and badger them repeately before it moves forward, typical government BS

Yeah my wife met a lady who was getting her k1 visa and had her interview on the 18th of April and just received her visa earlier this week. So just like topsecret mentioned these things can be delayed for no rhyme or reason. All you can do is push and hopefully get some traction.

we haven’t made it a week yet so I will wait at least a little while before reaching out

It's more an issue were you might rightfully be annoyed rather than worried. It's probably something simple like they randomly chose to verify some document with PSA.  Which would of course get verified according to Filipino time.  If the embassy asks for anything respond immediately.  Otherwise it is probably all good and will resolve on its own before long.  Even though it seems really long.

Still no update on the website for me.

I got two replies back from ustraveldocs, the first one on the 16th said "Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page" nothing has changed since then. I got a reply yesterday stating "In order to assist you better, we request you to confirm if you received any letter" I replied no, now I wait for a reply. What does that even mean "a letter"?

visa status is still showing "application received" with no updates since may 2

I also tried calling the embassy but couldn't even talk to a person...
