Well, I put quite a bit of french vanilla cream and a lot of sugar in it (pure cane sugar). The migraines are significantly less frequent.

There is always like 3 pots of coffee brewing on each floor at work, and the smell is intoxicating. Almost taunting.

So last night my husband said I have "Become an American" because I'm so cold all the time and after all I'm supposed to be from hearty CDN stock!.. i've been freezing the past 3 days and two nights ago I couldn't sleep because it was FREEZING in our apt.

Hubby turns down the heat to 60 degrees at night and one of the windows in our bedroom must not have any insulation in the walls which creates this tremendous draft in the room, and because hubby has to sleep closest to the door :luv: in order to protect his bride (with what I have no idea I REFUSE to let him have a gun in the house).. I get all the draft at my back. I had EVERY blanket in the house on me the other night and i was STILL freezing.. :bonk:

We literally argued (like our very first argument EVER) about it for about 1/2 hr last night. He was making fun of me (something he never does).. and I said FINE!... and I put my pillow on his side of the bed and made him sleep on my side of the bed and said YOU SUFFER THEN!

I'm with you guys on this cold thing. We have the heat set at 58 at night. The other night had 2 dreams: one was that I was in a meeting and whenever I spoke, my glasses completely iced up because it was so cold in the meeting room. I couldn't see a thing. The other dream was that we were in a hotel and the room was very nice, except for the fact that there was no roof. And it was winter. The stars sure looked nice but it was like sleeping outside.

And then he wakes up complaining that he's so hot! During the day he wants to set the temperature at 60. I can barely make it when it's set at 70. My friend calls it the 10 degrees of separation between men and women.

Living alone in my condo last December, I had to turn the air conditioning on at night because it was so hot in my condo. It was very silly, but I miss that!!!! It's a real life style adjustment being freezing all the time. Meanwhile he's wandering around the house in a t-shirt and shorts when it's above 60, complaining of the heat. ARGHHH!

Good morning! Congratulations Laura! E...one must take care of her feet for good overall health! You don't realize how important feet and toes are until you've lost them. Better to see a podiatrist than to be crippled up with pain.

On a brighter note, I have coffee!

Everyone have a great weekend. We're supposed to be in for a "storm of the century" Sunday evening into Monday, which means the store shelves will be empty. Now THAT is a phenomenon that may be unique to St. Louis. Mention snow storm, or ice...and people PANIC. They buy all the bread and milk at the store, their are lineups at the hardware stores for salt and shovels. It's hilarious.

We're not too very far from you, here in Louisville, but we have the same phenomenon. They can say "flurries" and people freak out! lol It really wasn't too bad until we had the storm in 1994. They predicted a few inches of snow and we ended up getting over 24 inches. The entire city was shut down for over a week. You'd think people would have calmed down a bit since then!

So the podiatrist is not someone I'd like to go back to.. he basically said come back when you are in "real pain" I went for preemptive action for my bunion, and apparently he doesn't "help" anyone unless they are in pain or have such a deformation it impedes daily activity.. $30.00 co-pay later
