Can i get F1/F2 visa while i'm a dependent of a pending i130 of my mother through her sister and aged out?

Hey everyone, my aunt has filed I-130(F4 category) for my mother 6 years back and i'm listed as a dependent on the application. I'm currently over 21 and wish to go to the us on a f1/f2 visa.

Would me being a dependent in my mother's i130 be an issue for getting f1/f2 visa? If yes, would it be an issue if i'm aged out as well? Thanks!

You can certainly apply.

do you know anyone who had been in the same situation? I consulted a few lawyers, one told me it's very difficult and the other said it might be a little difficult

Why not just try? Nobody can tell you for sure, all you can do is apply and see what happens. Your mother is still decades away from her visa anyway.

No situation is exactly the same.

But I have seen a  lot of similar cases.
