March 6, 2024: in-person interview. Refused with 221G yellow paper annotated with 2 original documents needed. Passport was kept by Embassy. As the sponsor, I attended the interview and asked the interviewer if the application is approved pending those two documents. He said, "Yes."

March 13: Original documents that were requested arrived at processing center and we received a Forwarding Notification email of documents to Embassy same day.

As of today, the status of the case remains with last case updated as of March 6, 2024. https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC

According to this user, it appears it took 5 days for at least a date status update on his case, but this was about 6 months ago, September 2023.

The other thing is that in Bogota, the entire holy week usually is taken as time off, so that could add to the delay.

1) Anyone have any more recent interactions with the Bogota office that seen turn around times after missing document submittals?

2) At what point should I start being concerned about non-action? And what are the escalation steps?

and visa was issued 18th of September 2023

so ,  less than a month for that member's case ONLY if u compare/yours can be faster or slower
