Hi everyone,

I'm currently organizing my paperwork for AOS and I see that there's a new fee if filed after april 1st, do you think I can make it before then if I mail it by this Sunday? Please give me your opinions. Thank you.

You will make it just fine…but nothing goes out Sunday. Go mail  it out on Monday morning with priority mail or express next day , for tracking

Ensure you have read the forms website for each form you are filing.

The I485 forms webpage states:

"Applications and petitions postmarked on or after April 1, 2024, must include the new fees or USCIS will not accept them."

As with all new USCIS implementations, postmarked date matters NOT when it is received by USCIS.

Your timeline is blank as well. Having a blank timeline is a disservice to VJ in general as it relies on member timelines to predict accurate estimated timelines for all.
