Meaning of Validity Dates on I-797 NOA2

Hi, my Indonesian fiancee and I are going for a K1... we got our I129F petition (filed last February)  approved and received an I 797 NOA2... it has validity dates from 11 Jan to 10 May 2024.  As soon as the NVC notified they had received our package from USCIS we filed our DS-160 and we have paid the fee and scheduled an interview at the US Embassy in Jakarta. However due to scheduling constraints our interview is for 15 May 2024...  Does filing a DS-160 within the validity dates suffice or will we have a problem because we are outside the validity dates?

This topic 

 said that it wasn't a problem for London filers. But i was a bit hazy on how they determined that.

Is there anything we need to do?  Should we do a CEAC inquiry?

This is my second time doing this, (sadly, my former Indonesian wife and I divorced, she has her green card now though) and for the most part I was able to rely on prior experience but this has me a bit puzzled.

We were in a similar situation and we actively had to have them extend the validity! I initially asked the consulate via email and they requested an updated letter of intent to marry from the petitioner stating the reasons why we hadn’t pursued the visa earlier. 
 

This was the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany. I believe it might be different elsewhere but if I were you, I’d inquire before the interview 😊

Our application/petition arrived at the Jakarta embassy months after NOA2 (USCIS lost it for about 4 months before finally getting it to NVC). The original validity date had passed, but it was never a problem or issue.

 

Since they went ahead and scheduled your interview date, I can't imagine you'll have any problems. Can't hurt to get confirmation from the embassy though; they're pretty responsive (or used to be at least).

 

 

Removing Conditions Timeline

Aug. 10, '17: Mailed in I-751

Aug. 21, '17: NOA1

October 23, '18: NOA2- approval

October 30, 18: 10-year GC received

A follow up: We just had our interview on the 15th of May. The question never came up and my Fiancee passed, she will be getting a K1 shortly. Pay no attention to the timeline, that was from a prior spouse...
