221(g) rejection due to dual nationality

Hi everyone, dual national Brit here having to apply for the b1/b2. Anyway, long story short, after a six-month wait for a visa appointment all was going well until the CO chat. Because my family's historical origin is one of those countries that Trump put on the Muslim ban list, I was asked to provide military exemption documents from that country. I emailed them as requested by the CO and received an email from the embassy.

On the "returning documents to the US embassy bit," it says I should wait two days and then log in to the page and click on "print instructions" and then View courier in receipt" but for the life of me I can't find where this "courier-in receipt" bit is? Please someone help.

Or, as I suspect, is this "two-day" wait more like a week or worse?

I'm terrible at this kind of stuff, being dyslexic, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I have seen this with Iranians, any time lines should be taken with a bucket of salt.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

It has come up a few times and to be fair the US and UK are similar in passing down Citizenship a generation, the difference seems to be that with Iran there is no way of relinquishing it.

Their processing times are for amusement purposes only.
