Singapore Police Appeal for Certificate of Clearance

Hi all, does anyone have recent experience with submitting an appeal for Certificate of Clearance from Singapore police? Do you get a confirmation email after submitting? It’s been six days since I submitted without receiving anything and wonder if there was a technical issue.

 

To clarify, this is the appeal for COC (for non Singaporeans) and not the COC application.

An update.. it does seem that there is no e-mail confirmation after submitting the appeal. There's a hotline, and choosing the operator extension was helpful in checking with an officer if the application actually went through or not. I was also informed that there's been a high volume of applications such that processing is taking 5-10 days instead of the usual 5 days stated on the website.

 

An e-mail comes after the appeal approval that would provide you with your eAppeal Ref. No. This number is used to apply for the COC (via Singpass login as well). The nice thing is all the form fields from the appeal was pre-populated, with only payment being the new step at this point.
