So we just got DQ'd earlier in the week and I'm thinking ahead to the interview.  I have been trying to work out exactly what documents we will need to take to the actual interview, and what they need to be.  I think I know what we need to bring, but can anyone lay it out just so I'm clear?  Don't want to travel all the way down to London and make a mistake by forgetting something.

Thank you!

Take everything you used for anything during the immigration process, including the originals of everything uploaded at the NVC stage.  No need to "limit" what you take.  Take it all.

Thanks for that.  Would that include printouts of the i864, both from myself and from my co-sponsor (my sister in America).  If yes, would that also include the originals of the financial and personal information used that is my sister's (i.e., her taxes, her ID, etc)?  I thought I read something on the us.gov site that you don't need to bring anything pertaining to the i864 to the interview, but I read a lot of things yesterday from various sources so I could be mistaken.

It will not be a mistake to bring "everything".

I took about 40 pages including copies of everything uploaded of my wife’s (passport, taxes etc) plus originals of all my docs (birth certificate, police, passport, etc). Plus copies of new pics of us and travel docs. I also took print out of the invitation to interview and approval. Plus passport pics.

In the end I was asked for my originals of all above, and the confirmation emails for entry to building, but they didn’t even want to see anything from my wife. However as has been said, I’d rather have my file with it all than not.

Just an update to this.  Had the interview on Monday and the only paperwork they wanted to see were the civil documents that were uploaded (marriage cert, passport, divorce stuff, birth cert, etc).  No financial paperwork nor anything pertaining to the affidavit of support was mentioned.  Individual results may vary.
