Starting to Panic a bit...perhaps prematurely

I checked my bank account online this morning and saw that my check to Homeland Security cleared!! :dance:

I went to the bank and they were happy to print out the canceled check for me.

As stated by the veterans on this board, my receipt number, EAC##########, was printed on the back of the check.

I logged onto the USCIS web page with my receipt number and verified that our case was "Current Status: Case received and pending" and that our notice was mailed!

Thanks to VJ for all of the great info to keep our minds at ease! :thumbs:

my first noa1 somehow got lost in the mail...just wait a few weeks and call and they will issue you out a replacement :) good luck!!!

Congrats on your start, Suitelady79!

This is not a fast journey -- and very difficult for those quick to panic. I hope you can find equanimity as you proceed.
