Green card was undeliverable by USPS and returned to USCIS, Requested resend card, but no response from USCIS yet

Talk to somebody at USPS post office in person if you get a chance, e.g. give them a heads up. Didn't help my case (they ignored everything I asked for) but maybe they'll be more helpful and won't misplace your card.

I got the greencard in today.  Here is a timeline of how it proceeded if anyone is interested.  I probably could have gotten it sooner if I didn't wait the full period of the initial Service Request.  I'm glad this portion is finally over.

 

FYI, they did email the new tracking number and even though the representative said it required a signature, otherwise I would have to pick it up at the Post Office; it was left in the mailbox.

 

Jul 25 - Card being produced
Jul 27 - Card sent
Jul 31 - Received USCIS Approval notice for I-751; USPS shows letter delivered
Aug 4 - Card marked/changed as undeliverable by USPS and returned to USCIS
Aug 6 - Filed Service Request to resend card (email said they should respond by Sept 6)
Aug 15 - Updated Address (before it was being sent to a friend's address which I've never had an issue with before)
Sept 7 - Initialed another Service Request for card resent and called to request it resent as well (since last service request wasn't successful)
Sept 8 - Request for greencard reset was assigned to an officer, preshipment sent to USPS
Sept 11 - Request for greencard completed, greencard mailed out
Sept 13 - Received greencard
