Emailing DOES pay off...

Hey, I just got my interview date from the Embassy, I took advice and emailed pretty much daily, informing them that I was pretty much ready.

I think it does help....why....i dont know, maybe Im wrong, but it sure doesnt hurt!!

Cheers mate, I guess its been fairly quick, but to be honest I've kept on top of it this end. Its cost me a few quid making phone claas to the USCIS invariably, and London, been given duff advice from both.

The most helpful by far were the NVC for some reason. Well, they actually knew what they were talking about anyway!

But, I really believe they must think, at London '######, that idiots emailed US again', get him out of the way, quick'!!

You know, I emailed them twice and I've still never heard back from them. Once it comes time for me to bug them about the interview I'm gonna be sending three emails a day! You don't ignore Miranda!

That doesnt surpise me. I try to vary my emails a little, the way I laid them out, as such.

Yesterday they told me they didnt have my docs....then today I get an interview scheduled.

I mustve sent them 3 or 4 yesterday, as they replied twice with my interview dates.

Sometimes they ignore emails altogether, and sometimes they respond!

What you did was to encourage everyone to mass e-mail the london embassy, thereby reducing everyone's chances of receiving a reply.

You did not give explicit encouragement, but by pointing out that you got your interview by sending e-mails, you gave implicit encouragement.

I agree with your dictionary, point '2', yes I offered support to.

Isnt that what this forum is for?

MY belief is that perseverance pays off. I may be wrong. I have been known to be, many times in life.
