Now I think I've screwed up big tome too

Apart from my concerns about the medical, I think I have also screwed up big time when it mentions other names used on all the immigration forms.

When I was 12 my mum remarried and I was told to take on my stepdads surname. It was never changed legally and never used on any official documentsie passports apart from a couple of O' level certificates. My mum divorced him and I carried on using my surname on my birth certificate as I did before I was 12.

I must have been so stupid to misunderstand what it meant by other names used. I just put none because I thought it applied only to legal name changes. Throughout everypart of the form filling I have always put none. Yesterday I was just reading posts on here and came across a couple regarding the use of other names on the forms. I feel sick to my stomach, I couldn't sleep, can't eat and I'm just out of my mind with worry what will happen. Does anyone have any advice becasue all of this immigration stuff is becoming too much for me to deal with anymore.

I too used my Stap-fathers name but not officially.... I never listed it on my forms either.... never thought about it at the time.... oh well.

Just thing about it as one less name that will need to go through the name check

If you're not using it on any legal paper I don't think you have any reasons to worry.

Do you actually wish to keep on using this name?

No it's never been used on any legal paper apart from a couple of school exam certs, never legally changed. I haven't used that unofficial name since I was 17 and I'm now 41. There is no way I would ever use it again. I never wanted to in the first place but my mother insisted.

I'm really trying not to worry but I find it impossible not to at times. I never had this problem with anxiety before the abuse. I hate feeling this way. I'm scared t about the medical and now this, and the fact there may have been misrepresentation when I didn't really think I had done anything wrong.
