No, the I-864 doesn't need to be notarized - in fact, there is nowhere on the form for it to be notarized! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I-134 for K-Visa needs to be notarized, the I-864 does not, and has no place for a Notary to sign and stamp the form.

Completing the Affidavit of Support forms

Are the Affidavit of Support forms required to be notarized?

No. The sponsor just has to sign the form. You should know however, when the sponsor signs an Affidavit of Support form, he/she certifies that the information provided, transcript and/or photocopy of tax documentation is true and correct, under penalty of perjury.

But if you use the I134 it does have a place to be notorized.
They are doing AOS which uses I-864 not I-134.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
