So I got my NOA1 back in Feb. The bottom of the letter said Texas Service Center. Simply out of curiosity, i asked Emma where it is and they mentioned it's been at California Service Center since the start.

Is this normal?

Yes. the accepting SC can be different from the processing SC. Especially when filed online.  When I filed, Nebraska was my letter.  I asked Emma after 2 weeks of filing, found out its in Vermont.  Got the approval from Vermont.

This is probably a stupid question, but how did you phrase that question to Emma? I’ve tried phrasing a couple ways, but she always just directs me to the case status area.

If you type in agent it’ll connect you to an actual person

Thank you! This worked and was able to find out I did have a transfer.

Do transfers show up in case status on my USCIS account? Or can you only find this out by chatting with an agent?
