Good morning to everyone,

My wife is currently in Port Au Prince waiting for our interview date for our CR-1 final interview. I am trying to find any information on current interview wait times but all I can find is wait times for non-immigrant visa interviews. Does anyone have any insight on what the current wait times for a CR-1 immigrant visa interview date is for someone who is married to a US Citizen? If it is going to be a significant wait time we have discussed moving to DR together until we receive our interview date. I appreciate any insight you guys may have and thank you so much!

This is for spouses married to US citizens or green card holders? I am sorry for the ignorance on the topic but I have read that US citizen times are significantly faster due to the number of visas not being limited? Does this make a difference at all for the Embassy in Port au Prince?
