6 months after interview still no oath ceremony

Hi all,

I passed my interview in September and I’m still waiting for the oath ceremony to be scheduled. I did choose to change my name during the interview and I know it can makes thing take longer..but 6 months?Is this normal?

 

what can I do?

USCIS

08/06/2013 - PD

02/18/2014 - NOA2

NVC

02/27/2014 - case received

04/01/2014 - case number and IIN

06/27/2014 - CASE COMPLETE

CONSULATE

08/26/2014 - interview date - APPROVED

08/29/2014 - visa and package received

POE

09/07/2014 - New York JFK

10/04/2014 - GC!!!!!!!

ROC

07/11/2016 petition sent to VSC

07/19/2016 check cashed

The waiting time depends on your local office. 

You can call costumer service to inquire.

I’m sorry I forgot to mention my field office where I interviewed is Jacksonville Fl.

 

I called them already and I was told the delay was probably due to a lot of people before me. To try and send a letter (which I did and got no answer as of today)

ok u moved

i went by the post 

 

florida has a site for schedule ceremonies

the field office could have done it the day of interview 

From  what i see in news headlines this is the site for Jacksonville

There can be a hundred or more taking the ceremony the same day/  they would not fit into USCIS office
