Errors when scheduling k1 interview on salesforce

Hello!

our k1 visa is now ready. As per the directions on ustraveldocs.com, we paid the DS 160. The next day we received the email to schedule VAC and interview. However, there are VAC apts but no embassy interview apt. It did not allow us to advance and kept saying go back and select new dates. Eventually it locked us out for to many views. I called and they said tomorrow it should open. They recommend checking no more than twice a day as interview days are released at the discretion of the embassy.

 

has anyone recently had this problem for Dominican Republic embassy? Any suggestions? Or have things changed and now they will schedule interview?

Same problem here with Santo Domingo scheduling K1 interview.  I tried today and same answer.  Any luck?

No it’s been almost two weeks nothing at all? Even worse it is impossible to talk to the embassy and ask about it. I called the Virginia center multiple times but  after they ask all the info and try to schedule me every time they say  oh sorry no availability try later. I don’t know what to do.

Same issue here.  I called today to schedule the VAC and K1 interview; they told me that there are no appointments available, to try in 2 days.

Same here. Called Virginia and tried online. Apparently there is no way to know when there is appointments available. If anyone figures something out please let me us know. I will do the same.

I read somewhere that on Wednesday appointments are opened. But nothing so far. They did add more VAC apt 🥴 I don’t understand. Also can’t check too much otherwise locked out!

But the VAC appointment are useless without the actual interview appointment, we can’t do VAC appointments separately? Right?

Did any you send an email and received back reply from the American embassy Santo Domingo? 
And do you know which vaccines are they giving at the clinic  during medical? Thanks.

Hi! I wonder, how long after payment was the scheduling option open to you? and how was the process at the end? I just paid ds160 yesterday and still locked for setting up appt.

After you pay, you have to wait for an email granting you access to the calendar. For us it took 24 hours. Before my friend recently, it took over a week.

Hi! Can anyone tell me what eventually happened? We just received approval today to schedule the interview but there’s no consulate appointments available! Only VAC. Wondering how long it took all of y’all to finally get something? Any tips?
