Hello Crazy Cat

Category is F2A

This an expedite case. I requested it Jan 23, 2023. It got approved the next day jan 24, 2023. Then I emailed NVC and it was forwarded to Manila embassy Jan 25, 2023. It was in transit at the time but as of Feb 1st, 2023 the status says ready

I forgot what forum but I screenshot the VJ user saying we can create an account and schedule our own

Hello Mary Bernard,

What are the requirements to expedite F2A case? We are waiting on interview for my minor brother until now no interview date.

I emailed NVC to expedite case. I just poured my heart out because the priority date was May 2019, documentarily qualified Dec 2020.

So 2 years no movement

Here is the email for expedite

NVCExpedite@state.gov

Make sure you state all needed info like case #

Name and date of birth petitioner n Beneficiary

Mary Bernard, thank you for your quick response and input.Good to know we are on the same situation.I am helping my mom since she is the petitioner as GC holder. Are you GC holder or USC holder? How old is your F2A in this case? I heard the processing depends on status of the petitioner.

That is good news you were able to request expedite the case and was approved right away. What is the next step you will get if you are approved for expedite? Are you all set now for interview? We have same priority  date of year. Our priority date is Jan 2019 and been DQ after that year too,so yeah same 2 years no processing since covid up to now. We have been waiting for so long and been contact with NVC all we get from email is to wait, but my brother will be 21 yrs old next year, we filed petition when he was 16yrs old before covid- he will be age out soon next year.

So basically this case is my husband's parents

They are petition their daughter, my husband sister who aged out right after we sent the i-130 on may 2019, she turned 21 Aug 2019

So thankfully. And then we did all the processing. Then Dec 2022 case got documentarily qualified. Every 2 months was just an email from nvc to not sell house or anything.

Here is the number you can call and ask if you can schedule for interview
