Hey VJ Family,

I need urgent help!

I have 2 important questions to ask, my interview is on coming February 2nd.

1. I and my husband got married back in 2018 and he applied for my case, they asked for the required documents my husband sent all the ORIGINAL marriage documents to NVC. Nikah Nama (Mine and his), Nadra Marriage Certificate and true translation. I've managed to get the True Translation and Nadra Marriage, certificate duplicates but I don't have the Nikah Nama, I do have a scanned copy of that. Anyone here has gone through the same pls help!

2. I used my FRC (Family Registration Certificate) instead of my Birth Certificate at CEAC portal and they accepted it. I want to use my FRC at the time of the interview too, can I? I'm attaching a screenshot where ceac says the alternative document for a birth certificate is FRC.

Urgent help will be much appreciated, I'm really worried.

You’re going to need those documents over and over.  You need to go back to the applicable authorities and reconstitute them.

It was unwise to send originals.  They are likely gone.

How can I get the duplicate of the Nikah Nama?

I have scanned copy of my Nikah Nama, would that work?

You can get a certified copy of your Nikkah Nama from local union council where your Nikah was originally registered.

I would not advise to take a risk as it further delay the immigration specially when it is just a visit to your local Union Council. If you can’t find time, you can hire some local attorney to do it for you.
