One thing to understand is that N-400s now get more resources than any other petition.  There are some field offices where the majority of ISOs are doing N-400s.

What does that mean exactly? Faster processing times? More or less additional questions or requests for information? More or less approvals?

Faster resolutions (approvals and denials) than ever before AFAICT.  
 

No they aren’t going to ask you fewer questions.
